ATWOOD - Phyllis J. Stephenson, 96, of Tuscola, formerly of Atwood, died at 1:38 p.m. Monday (March 17, 2025) at Willow Breeze Hospice House, Mattoon.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the First Baptist Church of Atwood, 231 N. Illinois St., Atwood. Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the church. The Rev. Woody White and the Rev. Lanny Faulkner will officiate. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East U.S. 36, Atwood, is in charge of arrangements.
