Sheila Renee Honn, age 72 of Effingham, was called home by God on Monday, July 29, 2024. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2024 at Oakridge Memorial Cemetery, 912 East Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, IL. No visitation will be held. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Sheila was born on June 29, 1952, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of Harold Howard and Mary Lou (Reinhardt) Bee. In 1974, Sheila married her soulmate, Doug Honn, and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Sheila loved her family and pets. She was a gifted piano player and shared her talent playing for church services for several years. She enjoyed attending boys and girls basketball games at Effingham High School. Despite her health challenges, Sheila faced every day with courage and a heart full of hope.
